Using this event as their platform, over a hundred prospects have earned scholarships or recruited walk on opportunities in the last four years! It does not matter where you are from; the STS College Exposure Camp levels the playing field to provide unbiased and proven exposure to many of America's best colleges. Twenty-eight college coaches scouted prospects at the 4th annual event while countless other programs inquired about the top performers. A listing of the top prospects from camp is sent to over 1000 schools and personally distributed to hundreds of coaches at the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) National Convention attended by every DI program and most DII and DIII schools. Media coverage from the major scouting services used by all college football programs includes Rivals.com, Scout.com and EliteRecruits.com.
Day one instruction includes drills, techniques and fundamentals of kicking, punting and long snapping from some of the country's top coaches. Day two consists of in-depth college recruiting, strength training and mental game seminars by leading professionals followed by video analysis and evaluation of your mechanics. Afternoon instruction covers game situations in front of college coaches from NCAA Division II, III, JUCO and NAIA programs.
PLEASE NOTE NEW 2008 NCAA RULE CHANGE!
13.1.8.9.4 Scholastic and Nonscholastic Activities: In FBS and FCS football, institutional staff members shall not attend any scholastic or nonscholastic activities devoted to agility, flexibility, speed or strength tests for prospective student-athletes (e.g., combines) conducted at any location at any time. Effective January, 2008.
How will this rule change affect the STS College Exposure Camp?
It makes this camp even more valuable to college programs and a must for any aspiring specialist. NCAA Division I coaches can no longer attend the camp. However, NCAA Division II, III, JUCO and NAIA college coaches will still be in attendance on Day 2. Over 1000 schools at all levels will get a list of the top camp prospects via mail, e-mail, fax and in person at the AFCA National Convention. Hundreds of conversations and referrals with college coaches regarding STS prospects will occur immediately after camp through the national signing day in February. All college coaches will have access to online camp video featuring the top performers. The major scouting services used by college programs at all levels including Rivals.com, Scout.com and EliteRecruits.com will still be covering the camp in great detail. Because they cannot personally attend the camp, DI coaches will be relying on STS more than ever before! We have built solid relationships with programs across the country and have a proven track record of training and placing quality specialists (not just putting a prospects name on our site because they happen to attend one of our camps!). Our DI contacts in the ACC, BIG-EAST, BIG-TEN, SEC, MAC, CONFERENCE USA, CAA, IVY LEAGUE, PATRIOT LEAGUE, NORTHEAST CONFERENCE and the SOUTHERN CONFERENCE are unmatched!
The 5th Annual STS College Exposure Camp will be held December 13-14, 2008 in East Brunswick, NJ at Heavenly Farms Park and Rutgers University. Over 300 college programs across the country will be invited!
Registration opens September 1, 2008.
